World Polio Day (24 October 2018)

24 October 2018. World Polio Day was established by Rotary International over a decade ago to commemorate the birth of Jonas Salk, who led the first team to develop a vaccine against poliomyelitis.
The inactivated poliovirus vaccine (IPV) is usually given at ages 2 months, 4 months, 6–18 months, and 4–6 years.
World Polio Day is celebrated globally, to generate awareness, Polio day was celebrated in CFCBR project parents and children participated and question answer session was held.
